The Jackson County Genealogical Society’s membership meeting for April and May 2020 have been cancelled. Our Dinner meeting, initially planned for May 16, 2020 will be rescheduled for a later date. Note that Jackson public libraries will be closed through April 5th.
The JCGS library will be closed to researchers until at least the week of April 5th – longer if it is deemed advisable. Some of our volunteers will be in and out but only to pick up or drop off projects, research requests, etc. We are able to do a good bit of research from our homes.
The Census opening is scheduled to start the week of April 5th, but will be evaluated at that time based on CDC recommendations.
