Every ten years the US Census Bureau undertakes the mammoth task of counting all of the people residing in the United States. This count affects the allocation of funding for our community's public resources (e.g. roads, hospitals, schools) how we plan for the future and our voice in government.
For the first time, the 2020 Census will accept responses online. You can respond to the census in less time than it takes to finish your morning coffee, and the process is secure. You still will be able to respond by mail.
The Jackson County Genealogical Society will be making its computers available to the public to use during our open hours. The hours are
Tues and Thurs 1:00P.M. to 5:00P.M.
Sat 10A.M. to 4P.M.
You can find the census also at 2020census.gov
